Client
LaserZone
Project
National rebranding of all collateral and promotional materials including a new logo and the development of a character.
Problem
LaserZone branding was outdated and did not relate to their target market – children. In order to increase profit and fulfill a vision to grow their business nationally, LaserZone had to become the number 1 laser game centre in Australia. Marketing plans, centre signage and advertising were to be reviewed in line with the new branding, all to be achieved on a minimal budget.
Solution
Mitara adapted their extensive experience with the youth market through their work with Nickelodeon and The Wiggles to design a fun, modern and futurist brand. This solid brand was rolled out through all visual collateral including promotional material, signage, advertising, merchandise, and electronic media including the website, games, etc.
The new character was targeted at younger children only. In order to expand their market and relate to teenagers, adults, and corporations the brand was adapted to a secondary theme that included a stylised character icon and ‘Star Wars’ style graphics.
Outcome
The client’s projected increase of 10% turnover was far exceeded by the rebranding. This has provided further capital for reinvestment and growth in their business including the development of new centres for the near future.
“The rebranding has been such a great success.
The Brisbane centre signage rebranding alone increased turnover by over 300% in the month following installation!”
